What brand of light at did you use and do you have any pics from the install?

No pictures of the install as it is pretty straight forward once you know it fits. The shutters can't be eliminated so the light bar has to be thinner than roughly 70mm. Mine is 65mm and it's pretty snug.

I bolted it to the bottom of the grill and used a one inch bolt as a spacer to make it sit in the middle of the bottom of the 3 rectangles.

I ran the harness along another and bolted the relay to the underside of the edge of the fender on the passenger side. The goal was to look as OEM as possible.

The light bar is on Amazon and it's a triple row. I think the brand is AutoFeel. It works okay and bright enough for a 16" bar.

As for the button, I eliminated one of the 12v outlets and pressed in a 22mm latching button.

I think it'd be pretty hard to go wider. The grill is curved and the shutters are flat. If I come across a discount on a wider one or find it for cheaper, I might try it.

Honestly, this one is fine for me. I did it for fun and because my buddy with a TRDPro got a matching one, I don't really use it much, except sometimes in the neighborhood in the mornings . The new lights are so dang bright.. I traded a 2015 S4 for this truck and I'm pretty sure my truck is brighter than my Audi lights were...

Not a wire question but those of you with the roof mounted LED lightbars and a sunroof do you find the lightbars affects wind noise/buffeting with the sunroof open?

Roof mounted are loud regardless of sunroof.

i can't comment on running the wires, but i did use a similar switch when i added my scanner.

i used this: https://www.oznium.com/rocker-switch

i didn't have to remove the lighter component becuz the switch fit perfectly into the opening

Everything is easy with the right tools. I'd recommend a few plastic trim tools for console top removal and some various picks for the connector removals. I ran the wiring thru the firewall grommet and hid the relay on a bolt at the edge of the fender. The goal was to have it look OEM

How did you run your wires? Didn't you need to tuck them in the back? I'm missing something

i just ran the wires thru the back. there's lots of room once you disconnect the stock harness that plugs into the back of the opening.

got it. but now if you were to put a 50 inch bar on ur roof where would those wires go? im planning on getting one from amazon a white one but don't know about cutting a hole in my roof!

I wouldn't waste money on an off brand light bar that wide, almost everyone I have seen with one on bows in the middle and ends up resting on the roof. And personally in my opinion a roof mounted light bar really ruins the looks of these trucks.

Agreed. Looks good on a jeep, not on a daily driver Silverado. Plus the wind noise is a real pain.

30 or so inch hidden behind the grille plus the output of factory high beams and the new led fog lights is plenty of light output for most people.
