This is where I placed mine

that is legit, i just ordered a light bar a few days ago and was planning on putting the switch on the dash by the steering wheel like the other member did above, but that looks much better. what was all involved in taking that panel off?

I'm searching for a compact switch and wiring help. I am wanting to run the reverse led pods but I want the ability to have them come on with the reverse lights and also turn them on when I like manually. I believe I need an on/off/on switch but only switches I'm finding are huge. Anyone have any luck?

Also wiring that up is beyond my understanding. I'll need a relay but other than that... :M16:

I'm not sure what it costs or the part number for the switch itself but the official GM light kit for the sport bar includes a replacement for the regular headlight dial and it breaks out the fog lights and the lights on the light bar into separate quadrants. It's a very clean and factory option if you can get your hands on one and figure out how to wire it.

Any idea on a part number for that?

I'm not sure on the part number but here is a link to another post where I asked a guy who had one if he knew the part number.

Thanks bud, I'm about to add some extra lights to my Silverado and I'd love to keep the factory looking switches

I agree, I am tempted to add a light bar behind the grille if I can get my hands on that switch for a fair price
