thanks guys,

looks like I will be getting some 285/70/17's then!

yeah I was looking at the 305's, but to gain an inch in width, gotta give up an inch in height, Ill stick to the height. hopefully get better mpgs :lol::lol:

I saw you ended up getting 285/75/17s how much trimming did you need to do?

No trimming with 295/70/17 Ridge Grappler on 17x9 +1 offset and a 3 inch level kit on my 2014 Silverado.

NWdirt, looks great.  I'm going with 17x8.5 Icons w/0 offset and P285/70-17 Wildpeak AT3's, the P being the key there, I think the difference in unsprung weight on each corner with these vs the LT tire will make a diff on a half ton truck.  Not doing a bunch of heavy hauling or serious offroading, so don't need 10 ply tires.

I have a 2.5 in leveling on a 2015 and I’m going for 17 in methods and 285/75/17 nitro ridge grapplers. I don’t mind trimming the liner I just hope I don’t have to hack the metal.
Im doing the same setup. Ive seen a few people run it but Ill find out for sure sure soon.

I just put my tires on the other day. It rubbed a bit but I trimmed it and did a mini NorCal mod

wouldn't a  chassis lift might be a better decision  for wheel clearance...instead of grinding the fenders

Gonna do this at some point too. 285/75/17 on methods with a 2.5” Coilover level in the front. Here’s a clean video for the k2 trucks for the NorCal mod. Can also do the zone trim plates that clean it up a little bit better

Um, no.  Won't be doing that on my 2018.  Did such on a 97 Z71 that was near 10 years old, but not worth it on a nice newer model truck.  Sorry, I just don't see the point, or the point in wheels that have that much negative offset.  To each his own, just not my style.
