2014 Silverado 1500 - Driver mirror movement

Hey guys first time Chevy and pickup truck owner. I love all the features i have found on my truck so far except for the driver side mirror. Is there a reason it does not move up as far as the passenger side one? I did notice there is a little circle on the top left of the mirror which kind of zones in on the area i would like to be looking at, but its small and a pain to try and look at quickly. Would love to get this adjusted.

Up as in you want to be looking skyward?

Yes I want to be able to adjust it more skyward. Right now its only useful for a short person. I tried forcing it with my hand manually and going all the way up, down, side to side with the buttons and it just won't go up high enough. The passenger side I tested and it will point up enough that your looking at the sky so I'm not sure if the mirror is broken or if it's a weird feature.

You may need to order option code ISI(L) which I believe is mainly available on black Suburbans sold in MEA. Used for spotting drones.

The small circle in the top left gives me view to the area i WANT to be looking at with my entire mirror, but the damn thing will not tilt up enough.

 

If that tiny ass circle is intended to be used in place of the bigger section of the mirror, then someone at GM needs to get a new job because they suck at engineering!
