muffler dripping water

2 month old 6.0 liter, just got home from running errands and see a puddle of water under the rear of the muffler, and water dripping. All gutters were dry. Any ideas where this is coming from?

R E L A X, its normal condensation. Your muffler has a hole (drain) at the end

As others have said, normal. Water is a byproduct of the reaction caused by the catalytic converter.

Yep, the water/condensation is normal. And, there's a little drain hole in your muffler, so the water won't pool in there and rust out your muffler over time.

I think they just started doing that in the '90s, maybe the '80s.

It's a sure sign your muffler bearings are shot.
