will a center console from a regular cab fit a crew?

Ive got a member who is contemplating swapping me his console for my jump seat. He lives a couple hrs away and im trying to find out if anyone knows if it will fit in my crew. From what we can tell via pictures, it looks like it will but would hate to have him drive all the way over to find out it wont. The only thing i can physically tell is different, is the rear. Since his is a regular cab, there is no pocket on the rear like the crew cabs... and thats what makes me wonder if there are any fitment issues. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds curious as the rear main pocket in my crew console is where the screws that attach the rear panel are hidden.

Can you share photos?

What are the dimensions and I can check against mine?

You won't have the output functions on the backside (rear seat area) of the console. I would think it would be different but i'm not real sure.

I just fwded a link to this thread to him as hes got the console in his truck and could probably answer those questions better than i. hopefully he will reply when he gets a chance.

10-4 yea i figured that was the case, unless his had a blank knockout panel where i can order the rear pocket assembly separately, but if not i am fine with that. I was hoping the console itself fits tho.

Looks like there are options for the rear trim so perhaps you can order what you need.

If this is black and it has a blank upper panel I would be interested in buying from you if you swap it out for a pocket.

(For use in a possible a rear vent mod.)

My jump seat is all black leather with silver stitching

His is black too. And im definitely interested. Not too concerned with the rear pocket, but was wondering if that was different, then is the whole console and fitment different
