License Plate Lights/bulbs

Has anyone replaced their license plate bulbs with LEDs? If so which brand did you go with and were they difficult to change out?

YES , 1/2 turn out they come . SYLVANIA ZEVO 600K - 194 . took about ten min. They are 100% beter then oem , i went and bought 3 more sets. The cost might me a little more over cheap one , but the light output is better.

I changed mine. Very easy to do. I don't know the brand but got them off eBay for $10. some of them are not very bright but a higher end bulb off eBay worked good. They are brighter than stock and better color.

I changed mine to, got them from Ebay. Also used them in my S10.

When I did mine one of them didn't light. I notified the seller on eBay and he sent me another one. Before the new one came, I read somewhere on here that polarity had to be considered. I didn't know that and I had saved the "bad" bulb in case the eBay seller needed it back. After reading about the polarity issue it tried it again and it worked. So if it doesn't work the first time, take it out and put it in the opposite direction and see what happens.

I changed mine out with Sylvanias (standard LED, not the ZEVO). They cost $10 for a 2-pack at Wally World. They were a little too blue for my taste so I returned them but the changeout only took about 3 minutes ...

Changed mine out in about 15 mins using vLEDs. Love the look.

I replaced mine tonight with Sylvania zevo 194 led from Wally world. A little bit brighter and not near as yellow than stock.

 

6000K and they have a lifetime guarrantee

I got mine from superbrightleds.com. Have never had an issue with any of their bulbs.

Just did mine as well. Ordered 10 bulbs for 4.00 on eBay in case they crap out.

I did. Got the Sylvania LED's from autozone with a lifetime warranty. Nice and bright and white. now need to do the reverse lights and bed lights over the cab
