Do i need to align after level?

Good morning,

First off, I'm kidding. dropping it off in the morning for alignment. I installed the Rough Country 2" level last night... It still has 1.25" of rake... am i the only one with this issue?

Tires are 305/40-22. Wheels 22x9.5.

Please disregard the B/W... the file was too large originally.

I have a 1.5 level with 2 in of rake... which I think is perfect. I personally think the total level, nose high look is awful. Yes, you need to get alignment checked.

Okay... i read several threads that i thought said 2" put it dead even... guess i misread.

I was kidding on the alignment thing, just trying to get a quick answer.

Thank you sir.

My 2" front level kit lifted it exactly 2". 3/4" higher in the back now. Did you do before and after measurements? If so did you get the 2" of lift on the front?

I didn't like a dummy. I even thought about it, started walking inside to grab a measuring tape and got side tracked.

I think it looks fine... just frustrated with it.

Is it the block that goes under the strut? If so pretty hard to mess that up. It's a 1-2 ratio. 1" block gives 2" lift.

That's correct.

Not exactly 1-2 ratio. First, It's important to know - it seems the double cab and crew cabs will have different rake from the factory. The double cabs trucks will have slightly more rake. This is even more true for those with the Z71 package. My 2016 double cab Z71 had 3.5in or rake from the factory.

I just put a 1.5in level (under strut block) on my truck last week. The actually blocks were 1.125in wide - and I got exactly the 1.5in advertised lift. now I have 2in rake... which is exactly what I wanted.

Top of the strut spacers may be different...

Interesting. My bottom of the strut spacer measured exactly 1" and gave me exactly 2" of lift. Crew cab Z71 suspension though.

Truck looks good!

Ive got the 1" lower strut spacer block (2"level) and i still have 3/4" of rake on my crew. I also originally had 305/40-22 tires as well but after doing the level, the gap was too much for my liking. I ended up running a 285/50-22 ture setup and looks much better with the level imo

I agree... i've been looking at 285/50 and 305/45's lately. I've still got 15-20k left on these before i swap.

I put the 2.5" RC level kit on mine this weekend and just got back from the alignment shop this morning. I'd definitely have it aligned after the install. Mine was pulling to the left pretty good and now after alignment, it tracks perfectly straight.

I was joking on the alignment part, please see OP.

Just trying to get the leveling kit nazis riled up.
