Sixstroke Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 So, I recently discovered that when I use the auto "up" one-touch, my window will go all the way up, and then all the way back down. This only occurs on my driver's window. For example, if I manually set the window to 3/4 of the distance to the top, hit the auto up, it will go up all the way, then back down to 3/4. Has anyone experienced an issue like this? It's more of an annoyance, than an inconvenience. Though, it is quite troubling. Thanks
SouthpawHD Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I'm guessing here, but I thought these windows would return back to where they were when they sensed something was in the way. So in your case, is there something caught in the upper section (like a leaf, or garbage)?
Chebbyfan Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Mine did this after installing in channel window deflectors. Sensing more resistance because of them. Was told by dealer, could be easily fixed by just resetting the window.
BigBadSierra Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Something is binding. The window is designed to go back down if their is resistance. So you don't close it on your arm or fingers like the gold old days when the window went up no matter what. Just take it in and have the dealer fix it.
kevin_nj Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Page 2-20 of Owner Manual tells you how to adjust it.
Sixstroke Posted February 10, 2016 Author Posted February 10, 2016 That's what I had figured! I do have wind deflectors, but they've been in for 6 months. I'll take a look in there, thank you all!
