i have a 2014 silverado and i just installed 5k hid lights. everything went good, but now my check engine light is on. what could be the problem? i had to take off the mass air sensor and filter box to get to light on passanger side.

Hello, I would not waste the money, GMC right now are designing a completely new housing with lights. Now I drive a 14 Sierra so may want to look into things. I have went LED headlights on my truck till GM gets it together. Hope it helps. Be safe

Check all your connections. Make sure you didn't miss anything when you put the air box back in. Take it to autozone or something an pull the codes. Probably something easy.

i disconnected my battery then reconnected and it went away. but now i am taking the hids off and getting putco led lights.
