MacPH Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Sorry if this has been asked, on phone and search is terrible. Was talking with a guy who said he has a '15 Sierra and was able to get the CarPlay update for the '16's applied. Said it was just a simple flash, anyone been able to do this yet? Pretty new, called GM and got the typical 'no' response. Thanks
piratepenguin Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 The guy was full of it. You need physical hardware to be exchanged (a core exchange). Dooable, but around 1,000-1,500 depending on if you have nav in my understanding.

The 2016's come with CarPlay and the dealer can flash the update for Android Auto with a USB key.
