rear bumper without foot wells

I am looking for a bumper without the rear foot wells. Is there one out there that will fit on our trucks? I want one that can be painted body color and still have the spots for the backup sensors. I think the early 2014 trucks may have come without the foot wells but I'm not sure it will fit my 2016? Anyone know?

Thanks in advance

Backwoods Bumpers. That's what I'd recommend. They are extremely easy to work with, and with all of the options they have you can get it exactly how you want it. I have one and am very happy with it.

I'm looking for a stockish look as my truck is getting lower not higher. The backwoods bumper is more for the lifted trucks. Thanks for the replys so far. I'll have to look into a 14 all terrain bumper it looks like

I remember some of the very early K2s had the smooth rear bumper, didn't think it was just the early All-Terrains. As far as I know from reading on here, I think the '07-'13 rear bumpers I believe fit and bolt right up. Might have been a thing where GM didn't change the size and mounting of it, just the look of the bumper.

Up until I believe august of 2014 builds they were offering solid bumpers then they switched over to what is out there now. I have one of the last builds with a solid bumper. I prefer it more than the step bumper.

07-13 rear bumper will not fit, if it does it will be a very tight fit. The 07-13 bumpers wrapped around the bedsides, which were indented for a tight fit.

Again '14 All-Terrian with out the premium package got the rear bumper without the foot holes.

Man I hate the rear bumpers on these trucks!

As I said, it's what I read on here so not 100% sure. But, looking at my '14 the bed sides are also indented for the ends of the bumper to wrap around.

Looks to have sensors, but not mentioned in description.

Both step and nn-step painted bumpers were available for 14 model.

RPO codes from 2014 order guide:

VB5 Bumper, front, body-color
1 - Included and only available with (GAT) All-Terrain Package.
VT5 Bumper, rear body-color, with corner steps
1 - Included and only available with (GAT) All-Terrain Package.

Happy with the stock 16 LT/Z71 body color painted bumper with the sensors and rear built in step. That was one of my few pet peeves with the 2nd gen Avalanche bumpers which lacked the step. The step and the easy drop tailgate are welcome features.

Just confirming, early builds had no step, not sure when the cutoff is tho, mine is a July build all terrain and I have steps, I don't care really but I like the clean look without them plus 1 less spot to trap salt and create a starting point for rust

My 2014 AT was a last Aug 2014 build and it had the step corners. Those bumpers are impossible to get directly thru GM, I would think aftermarket would be the only way.
