Bring it to the dealer and have them installed the latest software on the radio and HMI module. There's updates every few months for these for different problems it seems.

I have the same issue. My LG G3 worked perfectly with my 2014 GMC Sierra, now with my LG G5 Pandora plays on my phone and shows on the screen that it's playing but there's no audio. I have connected and reconnected with no luck.

Yes, the pandora app in the truck will only work if your phone is connected to USB. (allows you to thumbs up/down, change station, and skip track from your trucks screen)

If you are using bluetooth, you need to press the media button and play pandora through your phone (you can only pause and skip tracks from truck screen)

There is a lot more functionality through usb, would be cool if someone designed something that you could just drop your phone into everytime you got it.

Sometimes the system freezes which is annoying, I just switch it to FM real quick and put it back into the pandora app, it seems to reset it.

Also make sure your phone is not locked, seams to have less trouble if you unlock your phone and open pandora first.

Truckguy82, the Pandora app does not require a USB connection. There is some sort of communication issue between the LG G5 and the Pandora app in the truck which does not allow the audio to work. Other phones work with the app via Bluetooth, just not the G5 for some reason.

Good news guys! My phone just updated to Android Nougat and my Pandora issues vanished.

Upgraded to Android Nougat on Lg G5 and the Bluetooth issue has been fixed!! No more unpair then pair. Links to MyLink no problem now. Thanks android!

Yep, everything seems to work properly now. The only bug I have is that my truck does not always launch Pandora when I start it. Sometimes I have to unlock the phone for it to connect and start playing. No big deal.

Nice to hear the Nougat update has fixed the issue for some. I have to wait until early 2017 for my V10 to update and hope it fixes this issue for me...so frustrating having to unpair/pair everytime I want to listen to music.
