Did you order the big harness that draws the power from the fuse box or the one that they basically copied yours?

That one is for SLE trucks which do not have factory LED DRL. The SLE used the low beam as the DRL and I thought that harness canceled out the low beam drl and had to pull from the battery for DRL since factory wiring didn't have separate power pin for DRL.

It's my understanding they draw power from a separate power source for the SLE harness. The separate power source may be the only way to stop the flicker for those that have it...

I will find out when I get mine today. It is a redesigned harness for 14-15 SLT to 16 SLT headlights so I just hope it works.

Fingers crossed! Maybe abominable Z71 will chime in on the 6.2L wiring. I see nothing but that isnt saying much.

I ordered a Gen5 harness and will have it today. I will see if there are 2 capacitors in the wiring.

I don't see anything showing a difference in the wiring for the 6.2. Perhaps you and Tim have the bigger 170 amp alternator which shouldn't cause an issue, or do either of you have the dual battery set-up? I didn't realize Tim was having an issue with flickering as well.

When you say it only flickers when the truck is cold, do you mean after initial start-up after the truck has been sitting, or will it do it if you shut the truck off and start it back up regardless of whether the engine is warmed up or not?

It only flickers if truck has sat atleast 3-4 hours or longer.

I do not have dual batteries I will have to see what alternator it has.

Do you know if Tim's is flickering on the drivers side as well?

Yes he is having the exact same issue as I am. Driver side flicker only when turn signal is on and then once truck warms up everything works ok.

I didn't notice mine flickered for a few days until I was behind another truck and the reflection on their tailgate showed the flickering. There could be others out there with a flicker but never noticed because it goes away after 5-10 min of driving. I have gone through everything checking all possable problem areas. There are no cut wires, ground is working, battery and alternator are good. I had a theory the driver side only does it maybe because it is a much shorter distance from the fuse block and maybe.
