Diablosport intune 2

Just ordered the Diablosport intune 2 programmer and K&N 63 series CAI for my 2016 GMC Sierra 5.3. Any input or comments on either?

I am seriously considering the Diablo for my '15 CC 5.3l myself. Would like to hear input from other members as well.

My biggest complaint is throttle response. My truck has decent power for a 5.3 as far as I am concerned , but seems quite doggy off the line ... torque management? My '16 Suburban is even worse, but I guess the 'Burb has a lot more mass to scoot around with!

I traded my '09 crew cab 6.2l for my '15 model so I guess I was spoiled after owning a 6.2, but got a great year end deal to buy the 5.3L.

A little buyers remorse cause the 6.2 was amazing to drive. So just wondering real world experience with the Diablo tuner and if it gives results you can actually notice, not just high RPM numbers on a dyno? Fuel economy changes as well?

Don't mean to hijack your post Stroker Ace, just have some similar questions!

I can't speak specifically for the Diablo but if it can come anywhere close to BBP, you won't be disappointed.

Been hearing about this blackbear tune but clueless about it

Check out their site, look at Autocal programming. They are also vendors on this forum. They do custom tunes based on logs gathered from your truck and ask what you're specific needs are. The results are amazing...

I traded in my 14 Sierra 6.2, and selling my Diablo I-1000 if anyone is interested. I bought it and a custom tune from Diablew tune. It made a world of difference. PM if anyone is interested.

The inTune is a good investment, the CAI is a waste of money. You already have a CAI. And strictly from a filtration standpoint, the effectiveness of a K&N filter is debatable.

I have inTune and love it. On two occasions my conscience made me remove the tune due to warranty concerns. On both occasions I ended up restoring the tune to my truck within a few hundred miles. The tune in for good and to hell with the warranty! I'll pony up if I have to but I just can't ride around in an expensive truck that runs like crap on the eco biased OEM tune. I really can't imagine that the aftermarket tune is doing nearly the long term damage that the OEM tune is with all of the tranny clunking, indecisive shifting, acceleration lag, and the ever popular AFM.

I had a Hypertech 91 tune on my 15 5.3. I could tell a difference. Had to sell it cause I owed money to someone. Anyways, thinking about going with the diablo. Is it better than Hypertech, and is the lew tune a big diff over canned?

I have a Diablo Sport i2 that I un-married from my previous Silverado (was a 2005 L33 5.3L), and now i am looking to use it on my brand new 2016 Silverado.

Does anyone have the recommended adjustable parameters for the 2016 with a 5.3L 6 speed, (i also have the 3.42 rear gears)?
