Once you got the truck into 'Re-learn' mode, start with drivers front side and press the tool against the sidewall near the valve(that little antenna pointing towards the valve), press the button on the tool until you hear the horn once, then move on to the other tires(front passenger, rear passenger, then rear drivers).

How do you get the truck into "relearn" mode

turn key on(don't start truck) and go to the TPMS on your DIC, tab to the right and check that option, should get you into relearn mode.

Don't know about newer trucks but on my 11 I can still go into TPMS learning mode by turning the key on and holding the lock and unlock button simultaneously depressed on the FOB for 3 seconds.

I believe '11 was the last year capable of resetting from the dash

This seems to vary, but I believe you're correct...while my 2012 isn't a DIY reset, others have reported being able to reset the TPMS themselves with no tools on some 2012s. Almost like some were made with 2011 parts until they ran out...

Just changed to new tire/rim combo and need to "mate" to truck. What is the procedure? Just got an OEC-T5 EL-50448 but there isn't any instructions. 5e4d118561fb662b5269a71516d61e94.jpg

This may sound dumb but I just looked it up and there are two different ones, a blue and a orange one. What's the difference between them? And I read some descriptions and the vehicle list only goes up to 2013 model vehicles.

The difference is the color of the boot and the name. Look at the blue and the orange in this thread. Exact same tool and same GM tool #. They work on 2008+up.

I thought so just wanted to make sure. I'll definitely be getting one here shortly. Thanks.

Yeah I ordered one from there and never received it, luckily I had paid with PayPal and was reimbursed.
