TPMS reset tool

What model is everyone using for this. While I can get Discount tire to rotate and what not for free, sometimes it is a time thing and I may also want to do other things to the truck while I have the wheels off of it.

I saw the Kent Moore 50448 model, is that the preferred one for the Shadetree mechanic in the home garage type?

I gave around $180.00 off amazon for my ATEQ VT30. It tests your key less remote as well. It tells if tire sensor battery is good, tells serial number of sensor, tells temperature of sensor. It works on most car manufactures too. Free updates too as newer vehicles come out. Well worth it in my opinion.

Same here I have the EL-50448 (GM recommended tool), Works on my older 2013 and my new 2016.

only gripe is the 9v will discharge quick, I cut up a business card to put between the 9volt contract prongs as I don't use it very often.

I have the EL-50448 also. I average 10,00 a year and have a set of winter shoes so I only rotate when I change shoes, This works great and even used it on my 12 Equinox.

I have had mine close to a year and a half and I am still on original battery.

The EL-50448 will allow me to rotate my tires and reset the TPMS so the onboard display shows correct PSI on the tires I rotated?

Just changed to new tire/rim combo and need to "mate" to truck. What is the procedure? Just got an OEC-T5 EL-50448 but there isn't any instructions. 5e4d118561fb662b5269a71516d61e94.jpg

Once you got the truck into 'Re-learn' mode, start with drivers front side and press the tool against the sidewall near the valve(that little antenna pointing towards the valve), press the button on the tool until you hear the horn once, then move on to the other tires(front passenger, rear passenger, then rear drivers).
