Rarest Configuration?

Couldn't find my truck on any lot so I had to order it. It's a crew cab LTZ with bench seats, max tow and 5.3 liter 8 speed in silver color. Exactly what I wanted and its awesome. We don't use the jump seat very often, but sure comes in handy sometimes.

Great combination! This sounds like the perfect truck for a family with a good sized holiday trailer! If it was on a lot, it wouldn't stay long!

I would have said nowadays rare would be crew cab, long bed 2wd. But Idk if you can get the 8' bed on the crew cab. I thought I read you could only get the 6'

1500 crew can be 5'8" (short box) or 6.5' (short box).

2500 crew can be 6.5' (standard box) or 8' (long box)

(but the 1500 crew, with 2wd is only available as 5'8")

1500 double cab is 6'5' only

2500 double can be either 6'5' or 8'

1500 reg cab 6'5 or 8'

2500 reg cab 8' only

All 3500's are 8' (long box)

I have a 2016 Silverado Z71 LT RCSB, 3:42 Rear Axle, 5.3, black emblems, 20" polished alum. wheels. It was a CPO I found in Houston, cost was $33,861.64 OTD.

I wasn't going to purchase it due to the color being black, but for the price and being a CPO with extended warranty I could not resist.

It had 12k miles when I purchased it in July, when I priced a new on in white, the price was $38k...use the difference to purchase some mods...exhaust, CAI and soon Black Bear Tune!

I'm not sure how rare this is, but I haven't seen another one in my neck of the woods...YET!

I'd bet you've got one of the rarest configurations.

Here, we don't see many RCSB's anymore either and typically they are minimum option trucks.

Funny you should say that, even the sales manager was surprised they had that truck...well at least he acted like he was.

He thought it no longer came in that configuration however, the sales guys said it became available on the 2016 model.

Not sure if it is still available for the 2017 model.

I belive I have the most rare... obviously I'm a 2015 Silverado crew cab standard bed 6.2 ltz two wheel drive nht.. from my research it's 1 of 1 from 2014-current.. and what makes me smile more is that g.m. themselves didn't produce this truck themselves... I built mine at the dealership
