Andrewhtx Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Hey guys I seen some cheap but good looking z71 4x4 emblems online that come in different color trims. Wondering if anyone has applied them to do their vehicle? I have an All Terrain z71 but no emblems indicating that other than the All Terrain badges.

Ebay: Anything you want and whatever you wish to spend.
amxguy1970 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Why, are you afraid people think it might be a 2wd or something? Being down in Texas I have seen tons of trucks adding 4x4 emblems (even on Denali's) to increase their alpha status, one guy on here even added it on his tailgate to "get the point across" and another has an aftermarket license plate saying 4x4 on his Denali. Do what you think looks best, it will look like any other GMC fender badge or Chevy bed side badge you see running around. Probably cheap enough on ebay you could replace them every few years if they fade or peel... Tyler 1
quise2024 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Where as most people on the forum are removing those, someone is looking to add it. I agree with amxguy though, other than the standard placement of those emblems that GM puts on themselves, i find it extra corny and funny.

Tyler I don't care for any alpha status or if people think my s*** is 4x4 or not I personally like the way certain badges look. I'm just curious if anyone's tried it. Ray1982 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) I added an extra badge that is supposed to be in the grill in place of where it said LT. bought 2 on eBay for like 15 bucks. They are genuine gm parts Ps if the other guy is going for alpha go with truck nutz lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited December 20, 2016 by Ray1982 1

I Debadged my truck of all the factory and removed the Z71 stick from the box, and put Z71 badges by the mirror similar to how the GMC badges are and one where my LT badge was. have got alot of compliments on it Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk

I'll be putting these ones on when winter is over and peeling the current ones, liked how they said Off road in the lower corner better Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk 1
Rolling Thunder Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 You guys really confuse me when badges are changed and added. Just about the time I'm getting familiar with the styles and placements I see another debadge or add-on I haven't seen before and have no clue what year or model I'm looking at! ! The only debadging I've done is the removal of those vinyl dealer advertising stickers they add on the tailgate. They even put one on right under the cab high stop light black piece. If you catch 'em early they peel off quite easily.
Bgmc Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 I added a z71 emblem to the grill on my 2014 all terrain. About $20 from my local gm dealership.

Yep I removed the dealers sign and license plates off my truck before I made it out of their state This badge looks kinda bland and I was hoping to find something that looks nicer to go with the truck and if I do I most likely will change it out. Hooray the mysql has been acting weird on the site most of the morning, finally got to load the image.
Bgmc Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Looks good man I like it! Thanks , I didn't want to add too much. This is just enough for me.
Monstro505 Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 So I read a few posts on. Here about adding badges. I just received mine from Amazon. Look and feel like good quality. I'm taking off the red Z71 and replacing it w a black one. Also adding black badges on the fenders. I will post pictures later. Thx for reading.
