Are there build# on the trucks, if so I'd be curious to hear what your guys are. I'm not sure if vins would work, but i don't know if they have a run# somewhere or not.

I have 2017 duramax midnight edition. Have had more problems than you can imagine. Trucks been in shop around 20 days and they have no clue whats wrong with it. Would never buy this truck again. Nothing but aggrivation

Really sounds like the 17s are having some issues. Really to bad for GM, thought they had this Duramax thing figured out.

Wel i bought the truck on a saturday. The following saturday morning the truck check engine light came on and it went into low power mode. Had about 500 miles on it. Took it to the dealer and they tell me "its a fluke". So i drive it for two more days and have the same exact problem so i bring it to the dealer. They keep the truck for 8 more days and say they dont know whats wrong with it meanwhile test driving it for 200 miles. 2 days later they supposibly tell me it was something wrong with the turbo and its fixed. I picked up up drove about 250 more miles and the same exact thing happens. Truck goes into low power mode and this time the fuel gauage stops working. And if you dont know in low power mode you can barley drive the truck. At the point im at right now they have had my truck another 7 days now and are telling me a gm engineer is coming out but not for another 7 days. I have been driving a rental chevy cruz in the mean time after i pay 65k for a brand new truck thats always broken. I would not reccomend this truck unless you like breaking down
