Sub enclosure under front jumper seat??

Does anyone know or has anyone tried putting a subwoofer under the front jumper seat in the storage compartment? Seems like a wasted space for me as I don't use it all. Looks like a good spot for sub for those that don't want to lose the storage under the rear seat, like me. I'd be interested in some pics if anyone has any.

Where did you put that system? That would give my truck a lil thump but not familiar with aftermarket stuff. I have non bose would that sound ok with stock deck (non bose)

I don't know what kind of video you would want. My S6 won't do much to show off the bass.

The sub and box are great quality and have worked well for 2 years. Highly recommended from an aging (34) former bass junkie

I looked into doing that as well, this was much easier and sounds great.

I've got the JL Audio 8W3 similar to that one but wanted something more stealthy and custom. I don't want to put a box under my back seat, I use that for storage and other stuff.

Former bass junkie? LOL I think we're in the same boat, I used to be like that. I had two 12" JL Audio's behind the seats in my single cab dakota, it would hit something like 140db off the window. I loved it back then, not so much now that I'm pushing the 40s. :) I just want something nice and clean sounding with just the right amount of bump.

I was wondering about this as well. I might be willing to give up my, under center console, storage if I could get a decent 10" under there and still attach the top folding console to it. I guess the only way to find out is to pull that center console out and take some measurements. Until then, I will be following this post.

Always remember the sub needs a certain a punt of space to perform correctly. Look at subs and their recommended air space and go from that to see what you can fit

I would be interested in it if I could retain a limited about of the under seat storage. I like keeping my gun and handheld Ham radio in there for emergency's. I wouldnt need much of that space. Its way more then I would use from the factory.
