I don' t know if this was ever noticed before, but on the infotainment center, if you touch the digital clock, the screen will change to a analog clock. I thought it was pretty cool.

I learn something new just about every time I read this forum!

Does it too if you hold the power button, although this way doesn't turn off the radio

the power button off to the clock does not work on the 16's. I think that was just the 14's and 15's.

It does on mine!

really, I have never had mine change. how long are you holding the power button to get it to change. on my 14, it was like 5 seconds or so. must be a user error, me.

Might have misspoken on that. The clock/temperature doesn't enlarge like when you tap it while the radio is on but it does stay in the upper corner when the radio is off (just realized this is the first time I have ever turned it off!)

yea, they keep changing little things year to year. Biggest reason I ordered a 2016 instead of of buying a 2015 is that 15's did not have HD radio.

I just wish it wasn't such a pain or sometimes impossible to add on options but thanks to threads like this I keep learning all kinds of stuff I wasn't aware of!

So true! There is a lot of great info here also but as with any open forum I have come across some misinformation as well (my hobby/side business is mobile audio and I cringe when I see some of the misinformation on that subject!). Just have to weed through it sometimes to find the guys who actually know what they are talking about and luckily there are quite a few of those here!

Yeah that disappointed me when I got my 2015. However I do have radio DVR which I don't think the 2016's have.

Plus I liked the longer warranty on the 2015 ...

completely forgot about the warranty. is the radio DVR where you can rewind live radio, if so I do not have that either. maybe Marv88 can make a Frankenstein info system with all of the cool options? Less warranty also means the F&I person has more "bullets" to sell you with more horror stories, now wish I had more factory warranty on my truck.

I have learned quite a few things also, also have scratched my head a few times. I would say that is it very entertaining either way.

I would if I could! I like a lot of the infotainment features but I don't understand why they make it so hard or impossible to add "simple" stuff like steering wheel controls which I didn't get on my LS (silly me I thought I could easily add those later!).

I never knew they had radio dvr which would be a cool feature for me especially when I'm listening to a game and missed something.

On a side note a family friend owns the Chevy dealership and my wife actually works there but the F&I guy still tried to sell me on the "bullet list"!
