Did you plasti dip spray the badges or what did you do to black them out? Wanting to do that to my new Chevy if I ever get time.

Right on, I ordered a set for the front and rear

Nice! I think you'll be very happy with them. I was very against mud flaps and did some very thorough research on different ones. These are the only ones I really liked. Enjoy!

Not sure who you were asking this to? I blacked out the bow ties on my Chevy. I left them on my truck and just took my time using painters tape to cover the chrome. Sprayed them with about 6 coats or so (waited 15 minutes between each spray), and done! Turned out really good. Had a few people ask if they were the factory OEM black bow ties. Nope, and cost significantly less!

Sorry, should of quoted the OP, he had mentioned blacking out the badges, one pic shows the Silverado lettering on the side blacked out. That's what I'm wanting to do, never used plasti dip but I'm going to try. I'm good on the front and back bow tie, it's factory black already.

Ah, gotcha. I tried to do the lettering on the side of my truck and it turned out like crap. I know many people have successfully done it I think I just rushed it to be honest. Good thing is even if you get the Plastidip all over your door it rubs/peels off very easily. The thicker the coat, the easier it is to peel off. I ended up debadging the "Silverado" on my doors after this and think it's a cleaner look. The only badging I left on my truck were the front and rear bow ties. That's it.

To answer some of your questions, no the truck did not come with the exhaust that u lucky Americans get I guess with this all terrain x. I read another guy I think who had a x in Canada and same thing. Not sure why but whatever I guess.

No sorry it did not. Maybe I would have kept if it did haha

I think you should go back to your dealer the exhaust is dealer installed they have to remove stock exhaust and install the Perf exhaust I asked about it when I was considering an X They dont always install on trucks that go on lot ......... you paid for it go get it

Yah I used plasti dip, easiest and safest way do to it. Make sure u tape off areas u don't want hit by over spray.

Easiest way to do the letters is to tape off a square or rectangle around them, apply 4-5 light coats with about 30 min drying time between each. Once dried you will be left with your letters as well as some of your paint coated, remove tape and the remaining should just easily peel around each letter making it look like u took every letter off individually. The grey truck I had in the picture, they have lasted almost 4 years that way with harsh Canadian climate and tons of washing and still look like the day I did them. In closed letters such as the "O" for example, I used a sharp toothpick to remove the dip that got in there. It really works well. The front bumper has about 7 coats on with about 4 years on it and still looks great after bugs and road salt and sand...

I will have to ask but it never showed up in any of the option lists on this truck. Also on gm Canada website, building the truck it never showed up there in the list either.

Hi, I recently purchased a GMC Sierra All Terrain X with the Sport bars. I am wondering if anyone here has a recommendation on a toolbox for it. It would need to sit inside the box to clear the brackets and it seems like I will have to be careful with the lid or it may have some opening issues clearing the bars.

thanks for your help.
