What kind of subs and amp are you guys using?  Also r u using 1 or 2 subs?

I am a little old school and am running an elemental designs 9.2 amp to an elemental designs 10in 11kv.2 sub in a single sealed box under the passenger side rear seat. I cut my underseat organizer down to still work with the box in place. It isn’t loud, but it is clear and plays surprisingly low.

So the a lot of research I’m going with the

i haven’t heard anybody using this so hopefully it’s a good box. Also I’m going to run this amp

https://www.crutchfield.com/p_109GTR1001/JBL-GTR-1001.html?tp=115&omnews=14953273

with these subs

i will also run the LC2I. Going to tap into the sub wire for my signal. For power the LC2i has a technology where whenever it detects a signal ie from the factory sub it will then turn on the LC2i. From there I’m going to run a wire from the remote out from the LC2i  to the amp so the amp can turn on. Got a 4 gauge wiring kit as well. Got a lot of info from the YouTube channel car audio fabrication.

It's taking me forever to get my stuff installed, so I ended up changing my mind a million times.  I'm not going to use the LC2i anymore because I got a JL Audio VX7600/6i that has built in line out converter and DSP.

I'm going to use the JL dual 8'' powered Microsub, it should find perfectly behind the seats in my regular cab.

and I'm running an active setup using the 3 way front speakers out of this kit:

and of course I didn't pay those prices for any of it

I'm looking to install the JL Stealhbox under the reat seat with the recommended HD 750/1 amp. According to the Crutchfield tech I won't be needing the processor since the JL amp already has the high level inputs. So i'll just need the wire to RCA adapters to provide it with the audio signal https://www.crutchfield.com/p_136XDCLR2S/JL-Audio-XD-CLRAIC2-SW.html

But the audio shop guy says that I do need a processor. What do you guys think?

he most likely wants you to use the audiocontrol LOC to fix the factory radio issue of the bass level decreasing as you raise the volume.
