Weathertech mats

Go with OEM ones.

I had weather tech in my last truck, they were alright.

OEM GMC ones actually impress me.

My 17 Silverado came with the all weather mats front and back and I loved the look and feel but they don't cover the small section around the gas peddle. I didn't like that and since I saved my Weather techs when I traded my 14 I just put it in my 17. Now the back seat OEM GMC mat can't be beat, I love them, not a bit of carpet left showing.

Another vote for husky. Sold my WT fronts and really want to ditch my rear WT. The rear is warping and curling by the B pillar and really making me mad. Go husky, don't make my error.

Y'all have really got me thinking husky is the way to go. I just remembered while talk with my wife that I ordered a set of wt mats for her 4 runner back in December and they fit perfect. I hate to spend the money and they aren't what I hoped they would be.

Since you replaced your all weather mats with your Weathertech mats would you happen to have the OEM mats collecting dust in your garage? I wouldn't mind taking them off your hands lol

Another vote here for the Husky Xact Contours. Was not impressed with the fitting of the Weathertechs in my buddy's 2015 All Terrain. I don't know what underseat storage box you have, but the Husky storage box I ordered with the mats fits great. Rear mats are the full coverage mats. Been happy with the combo so far!

I've always been a WT guy but everyone's feedback on the Huskys has me second-guessing. I looked up the Huskeys and saw that there are two different kinds:

A) Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Liners

B) Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Liners

What are the differences between the two? They look identical to me..

I myself have always been a weather tech guy, I'm really considering ordering the husky's but I've always had weather tech so I want to stay with what I know. It really shouldn't be this hard in deciding how to protect the carpet in your truck. LOL

I have the weather techs and I am not satisfied at all. I love the back but the fronts are a whole not her story.

Snapped the driver side into place and realized later on that it was moving, because there is no other place where it secures it tore my carpet. And the passenger side moves constantly

The gmc are the best of the 3 if wasn't for the stupid cut out under the gas peddle. I don't get why they do this they don't on the Colorado so not a "safety" issue. I had gone with husky bc of reports on wt and they annoyed the he'll out of me in my f150 rolling and getting caught under door in rear. Husky feel awesome and fit awesome but the cut was too low along the center console IMO. so I returned them and bought the the wt they fit well but not perfect. Still trying to glue a cheap mat to missing piece from oem but no luck so far. Can't find right glue

Do the weathertechs not 'lock' in our floors? The ones for my wife's Enclave locked into the little toggles.

Or at least I thought we had the little toggles in the floor? I honestly haven't started at my floor in a little while now :dunno:

The Husky X-Act are more rubber like. The Weatherbeaters are more plastic like that resemble the Weathertechs. Get the X-Act, softer, form better and not as slippery.

I had my WTs in for just over 3 years. The first 18 months they were fine. The issue is over that time as they are more subject to weather changes, they curl up and the sides start to fold in, not giving the perfect glove like fit. The material of the WTs do not like the cold causing them to contract. The other issue is, on the early 2014 floor liners, the driver side mat was held in place by a snap lock Velcro disk that connected to the posts in the interior carpet. Over time, when removing the floor liner, the Velcro loses it's grip and the tray is not securely held in place. The other issue I had is removing the trays over time pulled on the Velcro disk, ripping the carpet strip that attached the post the Velcro held onto. I was once a huge WT fan, made the plunge on the Husky X-act and have zero regrets. I love the rubber, soft texture which stays in place better than the WT ever did.

My front drivers mat never fit right from the beginning. Less than 2 months in, the rubber coating started to peel on it. Called weathertech and they asked me for some part numbers and a picture. They had new ones mailed out to me that same day. Great customer service.

This new set has been okay so far, but the pass side doesn't fit for crap. I had 2 sets in my last truck and they were fine. These newer ones, not so much.

Can you get the husky's in the cocoa/dark brown? I was able to get weathertechs to match my dark brown carpet but like many have already said, I'm not happy with the fronts. Not only do they move around but the little plugs on the drivers side leaked and got salty water on my carpet this winter. The rear is great and fits fine under the factory under seat storage box. If Husky color matches I'll bite the bullet and by those..
