I am torn between the two. Who has them and what are the pros and cons of each one? I live in Charlotte, NC but the wife and I own property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The property is pretty remote down gravel roads and sees occasional snow. They will go on my 2014 Sierra 1500 4X4 Z71 which has a 3" front and 1" rear leveling lift kit. I want to fit 33x12.5R18s on my factory wheels.

I have the AT2s and there's nothing bad to say about them at all. Consider the nitto ridge grapplers too......

I have had the AT2's and currently have the RT's. I prefer the RT's. They work really good in snow and sand too. Ride is the same as the AT2's and so is road noise which isn't bad. Also something to note, both sets I'm speaking of are 10 ply

I've also had the AT2 (295/55/20) and the RTs (33x12.5x20) on two different trucks. My buttmeter says the AT2 are smoother than the RTs which are by no means harsh. The AT2 is also quieter but again the RTs are not loud by any means. Looks wise the RT has a tougher looking tread and sidewall. Overall fuel mileage the AT2 have about a 1.5-2mpg advantage versus the RTs.

RT's have a little hum but nothing crazy noticeable unless your listening for it.....I just put nitto ridge grapplers on my wife's jeep in 35s and they looks more agressive then the Toyo RT's and are pitch quite. Plus they were a bit cheaper

I just did 285-55-20 AT2's and love them. I had them before on a 3/4 ton and loved them so why change. Also did a 2" level.lift3.jpg
