I can remember when 300HP to the wheels was a big thing, now a 4WD truck does it stock and gets 22MPG, awesome!

My only comment is to all of those who keep repeating over over the full intakes just adds noise....

 

My question is did they do a battery disconnect. Then drive the truck a bit before it was dyno'ed a second time?

 

When I ran a before and after scan on my last truck I could see the AF reading change but they adjusted even more once the truck is driven for a bit.

 

Glad to see this done to a 5.3 with no other mods.

Nope. They Dyno'd it stock. Put the CAI on. Dyno'd again.

The power came up once the ECM started to relearn. I suspect it may even have a couple more HP if they had reset the ECM with a battery disconnect drove it for a bit then ran it.

Dont hate because it worked for this perticular truck and Intake. Maybe you had a bad experience but i dont doubt the numbers.
