MSD Super Conductor Wires

Has anyone had experience with these plug wires? Preferably someone with a 17 6.2l or just a 6.2l in general. Are they worth it? I don't expect a world of differeance just wondering if they're even worth my time.

I had a document somewhere stating the conducive differences between spark plug wires and I remember the GM wires being pretty damn good. I'll dig around and see if I can find it again. This was of course testing done around 2008.

Mine being a 17 I don't think the factory wires would have anything wrong with them. I've just noticed my truck seems to have a miss occasionally but I'm sure it could be from something other than plug wires. The only thing I've found about them are reviews on sites like summit just a couple people saying their trucks ran smoother with them but I don't see how they can tell a difference unless they do help that much.

No I just feel like I can hear it. I've had a couple people actually bring it up to me. Idle is the only time I notice it.

I have them on my '16 5.3L. I kept them from my '08 5.3L. I noticed absolutely no difference in power, idle, or mileage. Mine are LS1 wires for a Corvette/ Camaro and the length is perfect.

Honestly I'm not worried about any added power or anything like that. Personally I just think the red plus wires would look nice.

Well, you unfortunately just have to get used to it. If the ECM isn't registering a misfire enough to set a DTC, like a P0300 or above, you'll never fix it. There's been instances of people installing new engine mounts to dampen the stumble, but this stumble has been in these trucks since I can remember. I'm talking going back to early 2000's. It's a idling characteristic of the engine. Even the V8 cars are the same way.

With my DiabloSport intune tuner, I raised my idle RPM by 50 RPM (both in gear and neutral). This definitely made the idle smoother (especially when stopped in gear with the A/C on). Before I would sometimes get a weird shimmy at idle.
