Hey guys. New to the forum. Been driving chevys for a couple years now. Just picked up a 17 LTZ and installed a 2.5" lift/level kit and 295/55 Toyo ATs on the stock 20s.

 

One reason I actually registered was because I was reading through the forums in regards to aftermarket lights and the pain of running wires through the firewall. On my 16 Z71 I had the GM nudge bar and a 30" light bar. This relay worked perfectly and the only wiring was from the battery to the relay and to the lights. It literally took 30 min from start to finish.

 

Now with my new truck I cant run the nudge bar due to parking sensors and I have the louvered grill so I can't mount a light behind the grill. What are my options for bumper mount brackets? I don't want to lose the tow hook bracket either. Ideas?

Welcome. The only thing coming to my mind is replacing the foglights with some Rigid or other bright LEDs.

+1 on this. See my build thread in my signature. Added Rigid LED fogs to my truck and it made a significant difference.

I admit, I've never used the Rigid lights, but I've been pretty happy with the stock LED fogs on the restyled trucks. Do they make a kit for the new bumpers?

 

I've seen some people are removing the active air and making room behind the grill.

 

The other thing I've seen is there are bars out there that move the parking sensors. Some are brush guards. I'm running stock lighting, so this is all 3rd hand. Good luck!
