Color matched illuminated bowtie attempt/ process

I suspect this is going to be bright as heck. Would you happen to have the old LEDs from the bow tie? Any plans for them? I’m looking for similar interior lighting for some ambient light.

The stock ones are a side firing board mounted chip style led. I bought stand alone 5mm leds to use and am running them with an inline resistor in 2 groups of 3. I still have the factory board to use for comparison pics. If you want it I'll send it to you after I finish up my conversion.

This looks cool, either of you gents mind sharing where you found your light-up bowties? I may do this to mine as well. Would be kinda cool... Though I think it probably looks better on the GMCs or the newer Silverados because of the LED headlight accents. Mine has just the regular '14 headlights so no cool LED accents... I'd probably at least have to upgrade to nicer ultra-white DRL bulbs to match the bowtie LEDs.

Just a cautionary tip. The colors blue and red for lights on the front of vehicles are reserved for emergency vehicles. I would check your local regulations before going blue or maybe get some rgb leds wired to a remote to change the color when your vehicle is in motion.
