All 2018s To Have The Ram Air Hood?

I read in yesterday's Toronto Star that all 2018 HDs will be equipped w/ the ram air hood. Is this true? If yes will it be functional on the gassers?

Doubt it. Isn't it functional for the Intercooler on the diesels?

Not according to the 2018 pics Chevrolet has on their website.  The gasser pics do not have the hood scoop.

Hood scoop is only on the diesel.

 

And it's for engine intake air, not for cooling the intercooler (which is used to cool intake air between the turbo and intake manifold: the intercooler is cooled by the same airstream as the radiator).
