Denali Leveling Kit install needed in Los Angeles

Recommended Posts

Just picked up a 2018 Denali 1500 yesterday, and I need the front lifted immediately. Can someone please advise me as to where there is a good shop in the Los Angeles area that can help me with purtchase , install, and alignment. Preferably near Redondo Beach. I am trying to steer clear of 4 wheel parts, but will go there as a last resort. Btw this is a 6.2 with the 8 speed and Magnetic Ride Control.

Thank you in advance, and I look forward to your responses.

Why not the dealership where you bought the truck?  This would reduce the potential for warranty disputes.

They hadn’t really done them before, and wanted someone with more experience with this.

It surprises me that a GM dealership is not prepared to do a level or lift on your truck.  I don't believe this procedure is high on the complexity scale for a  GM certified mechanic.  Does your dealership not have a certified service department?

I asked them about it and their response didn’t make me feel comfortable. I want someone that has done a lot of these in the past.

It's one of the easiest mods out there, if the lower spacers are added. The front end alignment is more of a pain than the level install.

Tires and wheels unlimited did my zone suspension lift and a bunch of other ones too, ask for Joe (562) 325-5744

They're on Yelp as well.

Yes I agree.  I used double negatives in my post which is now corrected.  If the Op's dealership has the tools and skilled labor to install a shock absorber,  I'd certainly trust them with a level kit installation.  It could save him a lot of money in the future if he needs warranty work on his suspension.  You can be sure that any front end component failure would bring work done by unauthorized mechanics into question!
