My price range would be  5000-6000 Dollars. ( because of shipping and stuff ). I have quite a lot of time until I buy a truck but the truck should fulfill certain needs: It should easily tow  8000lb, I would like to have 4wheel abs, It should't be total gas hog ( in Europe we have LPG (Liquid Pressurized Gas), and this stuff is quite cheap 0,60 cents per litre (2,20$ per gallon) )  So I am aware of the fuel economy of v8's , but as always , the better mpg, the more money I have left

Have you done any research on what you can buy for $6 K dollars.

High miles more likely.

8000 lbs. towing would be 3/4 ton with 6.0L motor IMO.

LPG fuel will mean a conversion.

yeah until now, it will be more likely a gmt 400 rather than gmt 800, but still, i would like to have the 4wabs, wich as fas as I know is only available in the gmt 800 trucks.  and yes it would be converted then. do you have lpg in the states? ( just out of curiosity)
