Did you try putting some weight on it when t was lined up. The weight of the truck may have seat that no problem, just a thought

It doesn't matter now.  I wasn't comfortable with that 'fit' so I sent it back awhile ago.

Holy balls Batman. What’s the chance they sent you the blocks for the wrong truck?

I doubt it.  They are universal blocks.  The problem is the trucks leaf spring dowel pins have taper, the block holes did not.

I just received some universal 2" cast iron blocks from Tuff Country.  The hole and dowel pin has taper and fits.  My issue is the block is too short.  Less length = more stress on leaf springs.  So thats another one I'll throw on craigslist.

I have the same vibration you describe in my truck.  I put the Bilstein 5100's on the front set to 1.85" and a set of 2.5" rear lift blocks to replace the 1.25" on the back.  It feels like a brake shutter at around 30km-70km slowing down and slightly while speeding up. Feels worse when slowing down while on the brakes.  I am pretty positive it is the drive line, the shutter subsides slightly while the truck is in between down shifts.  With this setup do the rear blocks need to be flat, no taper?  Mine are tapered.  (pro comp universals) Everything was done by a shop, who have since checked all bolts and it has had a wheel alignment.

Most of them are tapered.  I guess that makes it 'ok' but for some its not.  You have the long wheelbase like me, which might be more touchy to driveline angle changes. We'll see.

I'm glad I found this thread.  Seconds from pulling the trigger on the Bilstein 5100's for all 4 corners plus the ReadyLift 2.25" rear block kit.  ReadyLift website wasn't clear whether there was a taper; pictures don't look like there is a taper but a couple other retailers did mention there is.  Everything I can find points to the 2014+ trucks requiring a flat block.  I really don't understand why ReadyLift wouldn't make these appropriately flat for this application.  Sounds like older gen's needed taper but these new ones don't.  I haven't been able to find enough legitimate positive reviews of the rear blocks with taper to make me comfortable buying/installing them.

Are you still searching or have you found anything suitable??

You can buy the 1" lift, tapered block and u-bolts direct form rough country as well - just have to contact them. They sell it as a package, under an unlisted item number.

The 2" ReadyLifts have a taper, I promise you that.  It is slight but it is there. Taper or not, they are the best 2" blocks for our trucks on the market, bar none.  I plan to mill mine and reinstall eventually and re-evaluate.  Like the dealer mech said above, they are great block and will probably be fine for your truck.  I'm not trying to create hysteria here.

Most of the negative feedback on tapered blocks and vibs I researched was on really big blocks like 4 and 5in with ALOT of taper in them.  Not so much with 2 and 3in.
