Sold my 95

Finally let go of my 95 K1500.  300K miles.

1 engine

2 trans

Rebuilt front and rear, added Yukon lockers.

and an endless list of parts over the years. 

 

Part of me regrets it, but I was burning out on monthly repairs.  I'm thinking of moving to a newer ride, maybe a 15 SWB.  Any recommendations, problem areas I should know, etc?

I’m with ya, and sad to hear of your loss. I just bought a new truck today, and will go through similar pain. Wish you all the best. Read the forums, be wary of what you see, and jump in and move on.

I’m holding on to my 97 with 208k as long as I can.

 

matter of fact need to coat the underneath with something to stop the surface rust.

I just bought new and kept the old truck. My 91 wasn't costing me much anyway, and wasn't worth much either, and I just wanted something new. If or when the 305 going in the 91, I'll park it and slowly build a new motor. I've grown quite attached to the old girl, couldn't bare to part with her.

Just too many projects.  I have my 75 C10,  dirt bikes, guitars, guns.... kids.... 

 

I'll dig in the other forums.  I've found a handful of SWB rigs.  But pickins are slim.
