Auto Fold Mirror

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever ran into this?

My passenger mirror doesn’t fold when I hit button the first time. I hit it again to unfold and then fold and it will fold.

It only occurs first time I start up truck. It’ll work no problem throughout drive cycle.

Try this.

Resetting the Power Folding

Mirrors

Reset the power folding mirrors if:

. The mirrors are accidentally

obstructed while folding.

. They are accidentally manually

folded/unfolded.

. The mirrors will not stay in the

unfolded position.

. The mirrors vibrate at normal

driving speeds.

Manually fold both mirrors if they

are out of sync. Fold and unfold the

mirrors three times using the mirror

controls to reset them to their

normal position. A popping noise

may be heard. This sound is normal

after a manual folding operation.

Try squirting a little silicone spray in the folding crevices from time to time.

Is there any possible way to have the mirror auto fold every time the truck is locked? I can seem to get into the habit of holding down the lock button.

Did you ever figure this out?
