HD radio

Was HD radio available on the 2017 Silverado?  It seems it was available in '14, gone in '15, back in '16, but I can't get an answer for 17

There are multiple FM channels buried in a single channel, so you can get 93.7 HD1 which is rock, and 93.7 HD2, which is pop.  The HD2 or HD3 channels typically have less commercials, which is nice.

Plus it sounds a lot better.  It is CD-quality broadcast and is not compressed like regular FM (or Satellite radio which is compressed even more!)

Listen to a non HD station, then a HD station. You will be able to tell the difference right away. It is like watching a TV channel that is HD or normal analog.

I have it in my 2017. Unfortunately, not a lot of station broadcast in HD in my area.

I agree. There’s a tremendous difference. I was pleasantly surprised.
