Remember this?

Wide-Screen Test Pattern

Our latest broadcast had the Pledge of Allegiance or National Anthem with an American Flag, or America the Beautiful with the Statue of Liberty immediately before the test pattern.

In NJ, Philly  and New York channels. CBS, ABC,NBC out of Philly. 1 more out of New York. Channel 3,6,10 and 5 was New York. I was the remote. Most of my youth was a 19 inch black and white TV. I was 15 before we got a 25 inch color TV. And a remote antenna.

The folks got our first color tv, a big Zenith console job made out of real wood with a parquet wood top and space command remote, when I was 14. I ran all the way home from junior high school to see it, only to be told to do my homework before it would be turned on. 🤣  Color tv and 12 channels of cable was "tall cotton" for us!

That works.

We had a member on here that had a mod on his truck for wheel chair. The whole side slid out, doors and all and then seat dropped down. Apparently it was a poor design. He had trouble with it regularly. This seems to be a better answer.

I'm sure door fitment is an issue at some point, getting it seal

Guess we didn't have that in flyover country. Kids played outside until the street lights or porch lights came on, then hurried home lest they have to go cut their own switch for a whippin.

Pretty much accurate except that Illinois is pretty nice for most part.
