Well I was tossing up between 6 months and one year, but I agree with the "my truck is white" comment so went for one year.

I do wash the under body though with a pressure cleaner to get salt and mud off underneath so nothing rusts.

Twice a week when it was Summer/Fall. Now that its ass cold, and the roads are salted, and I cant keep it clean for a day, I havent cleaned it in a good 2 weeks. Its been driving me nuts actually, and everytime I look at my truck I laugh. I think Im going to wash it today/night.

Okay, I am going to get a lashing here but oh well.  You people have some serious issues...LOL... I voted once a month and its lucky to get that.  Its black I live out in the country (rock/dirt roads) so as soon as I wash the truck it is dirty 5 mins later.  I mean its a truck right??  Seriously though I suppose if I lived in a different location I would wash it more but really for me it is pointless.  I do keep the inside vaccumed and dash is wiped down more often than I clean the outside.  But you guys that clean it every morning before you go to work I think you need to seek some professional help...

Its all I can do to find time once a month to get one car detailed, let alone both. The Passat suffers the most since it is a great shade of no show gray. The Black 04 Silverado 1500 Crew gets more of the attention. Usually gets washed twice a month or as needed due to rain/snow(none this season). My biggest frustration is finding new blemishes in the paint after the washes. Love Black but I have decided I really do not have the time to pamper the color. For ease my 01 Sierra in Pewter was the easiest truck to keep clean. I wish they would bring that color back. The newer color is too gold. You guys got me feeling guilty so, I am going to crack a beer and detail the truck today... Temps in the Mid Atlantic region are supposed to be close to 70  .

I try to wash it twice a month, but usually only wash it once a month. When I say wash, I mean put $1.25 worth of quarters in the machine and spary it down.

Now that it's winter, I only spray the underbody with my 5 quarters. I just don't feel it's worth it to wash it much when I drive 3-5k per month, visit muddy job sites and live on a gravel rd.

twice if its really dirty but normally only once a week, its not good for your paint to do it to much, it drys it out.

No it won't, if you use too little or too much soap you can strip off any protection on the paint, just as dish soap can. Washing never dries out your paint, as long as you use a quality soap you won't have a problem

TWICE a week atleast, we have a heated garage and a double sided utility sink with hot and cold water! my truck is a daily driver as well and i'm on the highway allot plus construction in the neighborhood so no matter the season i keep her clean and lookin good, i love gettin her all mudded up but cleanin her up is half the fun of owning a truck!
