I’m still kind of a GM guy at heart (since childhood) but I love my current Mopars much more than any late model GM I’ve owned. And now that Tavares is finally out as CEO, probably only going to get better.

Let me know how the Amsoil performs.

Will do on the Amsoil 0w20 Signature Series . Its already showing lower oil pressure on start up in the cold even with that tighter EA Amsoil oil filter. Quiet too.  I should have stuck with Signature Series in the Trail Boss.

I forgot to sample the B&G treated MOPAR 0w20 Synthetic with 1400 miles on it.

I have some very competent friends at FCA detroit ( after treatment, emissions, tuning).  I hope they still have a job going forward but no doubt JEEP will be a brand and entity out of Toledo.

How do you like it so far? Thinking of procuring one for Jeannie.

Final decision. Red Line Non-Slip CVT Fluid for the G-4. $5 a quart cheaper than Mitsubishi fluid. $7 off factory direct. Within penny's of AMSOIL with my discount. Meets all specs for CVTF-J4. Red Line has a good track record of getting the friction package perfect. Very high VI. More 100 C viscosity and yet a lower pour point and 40 C viscosity.

Should work well.

No filter this change. (OEM first service was supposed to be 30K)

1 Valvomax kit.

Transmission.

What I took out, left. What I put in, right.

Wonder what that would have looked like almost 3X this distance?

Hope you took a sample for analysis! ❤️
Here’s a reference: clean reference fluid in grey.

 Sorry, I did not. :(

Math has it at 28.6% new CVT fluid. (PAO)

Hey Grumps get us some data. Otherwise looking at coloration is not a good data point. 😵

Redline published data. Compare contrast to clean NS3 , Redline works as a replacement.

Drop and fill 1-3/4 quarts Red Line Non-slip CVT fluid. (44.4% fluid exchange)

Having finite control of how much I drop is special. Now back on even quarts and no waste. :)
