Customboss, the reason UOA’s  are taking longer now in my opinion is because Blackstone went up on their pricing and now Oil Analyzer’s has a better price and they are getting a ton more customers. Plus with the better price Oil Analizer’s also includes a TBN where Blackstone did not include that.

They told me they had multiple failures of machines in Indy thus the delay. But what you say makes sense. My pleading with Bklabs for 30 years to get FTIR has fallen on deaf ears and they are suffering finally.

OK, here is my UOA on our 2016 Suburban with a 5.3.  This sample was taken after a 1,200 mile trip up to PA to visit my mom. I took the sample as soon as we got back home and unpacked.  I used E85 for the entire trip, about 4 tanks. I kept it topped off while up there for the most part. Also, why are my attachments like this blurry?

Photo settings on IPhone or computer  lower resolution. Old Computers have terrible resolution?

I did but when you attach it, you have to click it to see it. Just wanted to make it easier by not having that extra step.

Gotcha. Are you posting directly from your phone or emailing/texting photo then posting? Some resolution is  getting reduced apparently.

Also this site probably cuts resolution when you save it.

Do you have a photo hosting site where you post family photos etc..? Might host there and link to it. Resolution shouldn't get cut

25,600 Mile Service

Raven

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage

1.2 Three pot and JATCO CVT

Pan drop and pan/magnet cleaning. 4 quarts Red Line Non-Slip CVT Fluid

This service is normally scheduled at 30K with all filters. I didn't change filters. Internal is a dog and cat catcher that was squeaky clean. The pan and magnets had nothing of consequences on them. The other filter is a cartridge protecting the valve body. Sort of a deal to get too. I'll catch it later. Reused the gasket.

The pan, magnets and fluid were multiples cleaner than what I've seen from 10K units using Mitsubishi J4 Fluid. The fluid isn't a surprise. I change it often enough. But there was zip in the pan. No belt glitter, no clutch dust. Just a smear of lamp soot type coating. Like a candle on a mirror. And not much of that.

Windows has a "Snipping Tool" application. I opened your PDF and Snipped the data I wanted to the clipboard. Then cut and paste to this reply. Is that helpful? Looks pretty clear on my screen. I am assuming you are running Windows 11 😬

Thanks. I have W11 but mainly use my MacBook. I will have to see if Apple has a similar feature.

for MacOS, cmd-shft 4, then you can either use your mouse to select the area of the screen to make into a jpg, or you can then hit the space bar, and select the window to save as a jpg.  The image will briefly appear in the lower right corner of the screen, you can click on that to make simple edits or copy/delete the image, and afterwards, if you haven't deleted it, the jpg file is stored in the desktop folder.

2025 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness 2.5L H4 naturally aspirated. Sube CVT AWD.

6/30/25
2025
5000 total miles
4000 miles on Valvoline 0w20 R&P Fram 7317 test 2 on data

test 1  OEM Idemitsu made Sube 0w16 factory sube OF
Oil in for sequence 3 Valvoline Advanced 0w16 AC 2507 F OF

Factory AF still in use.
Changed Front and Rear differentials from OEM 75w90

aft to Amsoil 75w85 ( thinner more stable  better!!! ) Front diff from OEM Sube MT XTRA to Amsoil 75w85.

Rear diff mag plug normal metal toothpaste.
Front metal toothpaste and 40um 1/4” “ “whisker wires”!!!!!!  EXPERTS CHIME IN

brinnelling wear rolling flat fine alloys to a thin wire??? Or worse? Did not sample as it would not show source in data. Too large.
Drivability with Amsoil is noticeably smoother by the woman who cares for me. MPG up with driveline changes.

CVT going to Amsoil progressively soon.

If front diff turns out to be an issue and Sube balks on warranty I will sue them and use Amsoil to assist me as I was once a forensic analyst to Amsoil corporate before I declined.

Polaris labs is horribly slow and analysts might as well be monkeys.

NOTE engine oil PQ particle quantifier testing. Cheap way to watch ferritic wear particles of any size. Lower # better. 9 frigging awesome. Stop spending $$ on particle counts that are mostly oil adds folks. Engine oil terrible candidates for particle counts. Use PQ instead for $6.90 from Amsoil and Nick. @Black02Silverado

Apologies for mark up on PDF hands and arms useless. Dictation only way I can communicate now.

Update on this 2025 Subaru AWD unit my caretaker drives. Shoutout to site sponsor @Black02Silverado NICK, who set me up to get discounted Amsoil. Setup our landowners association for all our CAT , JD, and JCB roads HD equipments. Saving them. The Crosstrek is exceeding average MPG by 22%.
HOW?
Inside first 6000 miles front and rear differentials changed to Amsoil 75w-85 signature series GL.

CVT 4 qts drained and refilled with Amsoil CVT.

Air filter and cabin filter changed @6000 miles.
This is a very rough and dusty dirt/rock road environment.

I did this with the 2022 TrailBoss L3B 4 turbo 4WD and saw similar improvements.

We are about to head to Indiana for 50th HS reunion. Will report HWY mpg increase or other.

Thanks Nick.
