I know no cover is watertight but how does is do with keeping water out and the bed dry?

After I added some additional gasket material to both front corners I would rate it at 95%.  It has to be a torrential rain event before I notice any small water intrusion.

Thinking about the Lomax for my next truck and I was wondering if anyone noticed it getting especially hot in the summertime?

 

I had a Pace Edwards full metal jackrabbit years ago that got extremely hot in the summertime, but my MX4 I have now is much better and not as hot.....BUT I like the looks of the Lomax with the hidden seal.
