Same issue here. Had it in my 2014 Sierra and now my 2021 Silverado. How can GM pretend there isn't an issue and then continue to use this equipment in new models without fixing the problem. I have no backup camera, radio or charging ports on a $80000 truck with only 60000 kms. Just Garbage. I will not be buying a GM next time.

14-18 and then 19-22 the radios are NOT the same.  All different hardware and software.

That is true. Same issue though. I buy new vehicles for a reason I am busy and don't  have time to deal with problems. I got rid of my Sierra because of electrical problems. I just figured these issues would be fixed by now.

As of yesterday I have the black screen, no sound, and fisheye camera.  Oddly, also no power to the usb's and my AMP steps don't deploy.  I don't see any solutions other than wait it out.

Sounds to me like your ignition accessory fuse is no good.

all fuses checked good, and long battery disconnect got the steps working.  Display lights up and glitches every 90 secs or so, onstar has a red light, and communicating usb's are off.  It has to be a module.  Any budget code readers that can talk to modules?

I just had this happen to me in my 2024 2500 Silverado. Called the dealer ship they said bring it in next week so they can look at it. I asked have they had this issue before he said no. I asked what could the problem be he said it could be a number of different things. I asked would a scan tool pick up the problem he said no. To me there is no need for me to bring it by there if you can't scan it to find the problem. Long story short I remember I was having a problem with the truck updating, left the driver door opened for a few minutes the computer reset itself. I asked my salesman about it, he told me that's how they do an update without physically doing it with the computer. I left driver door open heard truck rest itself, red triangle with exclamation mark and red line on OnStar button is gone. Radio and OnStar back to normal. If this happens to anyone else on here open drivers door for 10- 15 minutes listen for the sounds I. The truck when it stops making sounds it's done. See if that works on your vehicle as well

I'm having the same problem,  mine went black a few weeks ago and I bought a new digitizer and replaced it but didn't work. It's a 2019 gmc sierra with only 30k mileage... this trucks is a headache.  So defective...radio should be cover by warranty right?
