Heater hose & part numbers

I recently inherited an 02 with the 5.3, the truck is in excellent condition but the hoses look and feel pretty rough.  Before my dads passing he had started gathering the required hoses but cancer got him down and it never was performed.  As best I can tell, I have every hose needed with the exception of the hose coming from the heater core to the water pump/engine.    It definetly is NOT the crazy looking Y hose that also goes to the reservoir as I already have that one.  Does anybody have an ACDelco part number?  Normally I'd go with Gates but seeing as how every other hose he bought for it in preparation is ACDelco I thought I'd buy the one last hose the same to round it out.

Also, at the heater core, I see that I need to replace the quick disconnect fittings.  One should be Dorman 800-409 but what is the other one?

And lastly, while I'm this far down I figured I should replace the thermostat but I'm reading conflicting info about what it takes.  What's the story behind the change GM made because at some point they changed the water pump some/most are saying how that changes which thermostat you need and some are also saying you have to change the housing when you're doing it.  Seems weird but I'll roll with whatever it needs.

I used the search function but couldn't find the part number for the hose, or what the different looking quick connector replacement part was.

Thanks

Can't help with the other parts, but regarding the quick disconnects at the heater core...go with GM instead of the Dorman.  I used a Dorman QD on my wife's Tahoe and wound up having to replace it again in less than a year.  The GM QD I used is still going strong after 2 years.

They may not carry the molded AC Delco hose. You can use bulk hose by the foot and make a gentle curve.

Gates # is 18914 for the "L" shaped 5/8" hose. You can cross it to ACD. Personally if you can get the Gates easily, put it on. Just pull the part # decal off and you won't even Know the difference
