Traded my red 2001 Suburban I had for 17 years for this one.

And sold my "1991 Corvette Red" 1981 Cherokee Chief I had for 15 years to get the Suburban.

I like red.

One of the things I like about this one is the tan interior.

I meant to say "tintcoat" not tricoat. Believe it's the same color as Chevy's Cajun Red. Looks great clean but hard to keep that way in our Iowa winters.

That truck is a Keeper!

Thanks for the compliment. It's Turtle Wax

Endura Shine Acrylic Sealant. They stopped making it but it is the best I ever used, last for months. I went through 3 counties when I heard it was discontinued and bought it and the trim coating up. I have about 8 bottles left and about 14 bottles of trim coating. A bottle lasts about 2 years. The color is called Red Hot.

Other comparable coatings are Adams Tire Armor, Optibond Tire Coating, Tuf-Shine, McKees Tire Coating, and Black Perl

Awesome. Im gonna look them up. Im so sick of cheap silicone tire shine crap.

#1 rule when applying sealant, make sure to scrub off all other dressings. I did 5 coats of tire cleaner on new tires and scrubbed until foam was white.

I usually do three coats. Car wash will not remove it, however after washing they look like you just applied it. They will be completely dry to the touch. Removing it is done using tire cleaner and scrubbing.

I belong to the local car wash monthly club. I pay $26/month for unlimited wash. Its the everything wash with tire shine and wax too. I usually hit them up about 4 times a week. And when i go through, i go twice.

That is a lot of car washes, I would be careful going that often. The soap they use generally has a very high PH which can easily strip off protective waxes or coating at that frequency, it's why you sometimes get a chemical smell when it is washing your car. It can also dull paint and trim at that frequency. Even the water is sometimes recycled, so you can only hope the filtering is pulling out all particulates.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I do keep it waxed and polished every 2 months. And when needed, i use a clay bar.

Looks good! Are those painted calipers, covers, or bbk? I want to paint mine black when warmer weather hits.

Thanks. Actually they are the MGP caliper covers. They stop SO MUCH of the brake dust from coming out onto the wheels. Not that I have brake dust on the wheels anyway because I wash it so much..
