Good bye ford

Finally, ford is cutting me a check. Should be turning in the truck to the dealership this week. Then it’s deal making time with Chevy. Wish me luck

Well, ford repurchased my truck today so looks like the hunt is on. Of course, I work tomorrow to Friday morning. Kids have a half day Friday, Saturday wedding. I’m super excited that that nightmare is over. Hopefully, Chevy is trouble free.

Thanks. Yeah I know nothing is bulletproof but hopefully I’ll have better luck

I've used cars.com and had good luck. You can do an "advanced" search on new vehicles and select everything you want, then sort the results by price. Sometimes I search a 200 mile radius, sometimes I search the whole country. You'll get a great idea of what the trucks are going for. Be leary, some dealers advertise price with all incentives worked in, even the ones you dont qualify for, just to get people in the door.

I almost forgot also, new GM incentives come out the first of the month. You never...they could be better than current offers, or worse! Back in December, 2018's were selling for $13k off MSRP,  and that was widely advertised. Currently 2018s are only advertised at $9k off MSRP

Much appreciated. Thank you. I will look into it. The dealership I’m going to is a high volume dealer. Hopefully, that works in my favor. I’m sure they’re gonna try and out me in a 2019 instead of a 2018. I’ve thought about it but afraid due to it being a new model

Yeah, a new 2018 would be the way to go as you obviously can't wait for the 2020s now that Ford owns your truck.

Well that dealership was a total waste of my time. They would not budge on the price they wanted 44,000. I walked out

Use carguru to find biggest rebates in your area.

Those prices are good but you probably have to qualify for every rebate

There’s $2k in qualifying rebates: 1k trade in bonus; 1k for finance with gm. Sometimes there’s more but those are the main two. They are our (Arkansas) high volume dealer. Will run between $12-16k off depending on time of the year.

Unfortunately, Son that will now be your last FERD and not going back after the CHEVY shows ya how it's done!

I hope soo. I’m really excited about this truck. Fingers crossed I have no big issues being it’s a new model. I pick it up later today
