Can I buy this new style tailgate to fit my 2015 high country hd dully. Just seen one on new gmc

The bed has also been redesigned so I would say that it wont work. It is supposed to have shorter walls (shallower bed) to get easier access from the sides.

A new 2020 GMC HD would come with it on SLT and Denali though...

Body lines aren't going to line up. It is a completely new body style.

And both cab and box lengths have changed.

Probably this also means both body and box mounts are also different.

I suppose. But not to me.  With what they are doing with the new box, I would rather by a chassis style and put on an aftermarket bed.  I still don't care for the easy lower tailgate system on my 2015.

While I think it's cool from an engineering perspective, I wouldn't want one of these fancy tailgates...

Anybody know how much the credit is when the multipro is deleted in favour of the standard tailgate?

Does not the box include the tailgate which is what I was responding to?

Not all trim levels get the fancy tailgate some come with a one piece still.

$0.  There is no credit.  It's standard on Denali and SLT and can be "deleted" on an order.
