Yes it revs then goes back slow

That sucks :( I want it to react more like an old school throttle. I don’t really need the added responsiveness on tip in. Thank you for the reply.

$198?  That's a lot of paint sticks!

You are probably talking about the pedal moving back this has nothing to do with that it just makes throttle response quicker

Just installed mine today and it's a night and day difference....

Okay, I had to see what all the talk was about! I ordered the Pedal Commander and it got here today. Now I know it doesn’t give you one bit of additional power so I knew that going in. All I can say is WOW. If this is even a hint at what is in my future with tuning and whatnot, life is gonna be grand. It is incredible the difference in throttle response, I know some say a linear throttle is better but I love this new feel to the truck. NO it is not the same as just hitting the Tow/Haul button, not even close. I found transmission shifts felt the same and the kick-down works just fine. The DIC is reflective of the fuel usage as it certainly drops the MPG on takeoffs but no different than driving with a heavy foot. I found I can still attain an easy, coffee drinking takeoff too. I have it set at Sport +1 and that seems perfect. Don’t even want to try Sport Plus. The Bluetooth connected first shot and the app worked perfectly. The unit shuts itself off after about 1 minute of shut down, it woke up as soon as the door was opened, cycled right back to its prior setting. Very happy! Since it is Bluetooth, I zip-tied the whole thing up under and out of the way. No CEL after several cycles.

It's just amping the gain on the pedal signal, correct?

Yes, and it reverts to stock when using cruise control. It’s hard to explain but sure feels good. Not a placebo type thing...I’d be curious to see how the ECO mode does in the snow or sand because it scales back the signal.

That’s funny my high end Santa Fe, oh oh wait a minute it wasn’t high end. Just an average mid size SUV had that button from the factory. It’s called an eco button. Turn it on it flattens the go pedal to where you have to mash it to get full throttle. Turn it off the first half of the pedal gives you 3/4 response. Basically what pedal command does. Shame GM can’t simply give us a sport mode.

Was showing my brother tonight my pedal commander and while parked going through the different modes it threw  a check engine light and put my truck into limp mode. I'm not really sure why this happened the truck wasn't even moving and I didn't have my foot on the gas pedal. Luckily I have a scan tool I cleared the code and got it out of limp mode...seems fine now. Anyone else had this happen to them?

If it helps any I was using my phone to switch modes.

I switched between several modes through Bluetooth and switched it off and on and really tried everything I could throw at it but it never missed a beat. Is yours new to your truck? How long have you been running it? Oops, you just installed it yesterday, don’t know then?? I’ll certainly report any issues.
