So since these trucks are still new, there are limited options out for those looking to lift it. This section will focus ONLY on 6 inch and up lifts for 4WD trucks. I decided to put together a list of kits that are currently available as of today. Below you can find links to each individual kit along with some basic information for easier reference. So if you're coming here to bash a company and their product, you better back it up because going off other peoples opinions without having any supporting information is not considered a discussion. If you think one kit is better than the other, explain why you believe that. The only kit I really see an issue with is the Fabtech 6" basic system lift. They're using a weird strut spacer they designed in the front and I really don't think that will hold up to abuse. As of now, I am looking at the ProComp kit and the Rough Country kit as all these kits are almost spitting images of each other. Thoughts?

ROUGH COUNTRY

  • Lift Height: 6"
  • Price: $1,399.95
  • Part #: 21730

PROCOMP

BDS SUSPENSION

  • Lift Height: 6"
  • Price: $1,996.73
  • Part #: 764H

I currently have the procomp 6” on my 19 high country and I’m very happy with it. Rides good as well.

Thanks for the input! Anything complaints about it so far (e.g. Noises, creaks, swaying, vibration, etc.)? I have been leaning more towards ProComp mainly because they offer a powertrain warranty which means they took the time to engineer it properly and get the geometry correct. I'm not saying rough country didn't but procomp has a one up where they guarantee it.

Honestly no complaints here it’s solid and haven’t had any problems the last 4,000 miles I’ve been driving with it. I went with pro comp because they do have better quality lifts than rough country from what everyone I’ve asked. Plus from experience it does ride a lot smoother than the rough country.

Wow that many miles on a 19 already

I installed the BDS 6” with fox rear shocks this past weekend. So far I only put about 100 miles but the ride is awesome. Still rides like factory.

It boggles my mind that anyone would pay the money and take the time to make a truck less able to function on and off the road just because they think it looks cool and will be a chick magnet - if only it was that easy. There seems to be a correlation with the higher the truck height the lower the IQ of its owner. But then again, IQ may be greatly overrated when a complete idiot is in power in the White House.

It boggles my mind that someone would come to a thread and leave their negative opinion on the subject.   If you don't like lifts,  don't come to a lift thread and spout off about it.  Then on top of that call everyone dumb for doing it.  Keep your opinion to yourself.   Also, this isn't a political forum, so you can keep those opinions to yourself also!

So how would you analyze my wife?  She drives an Escalade now, and wants to trade it in for a Silverado and lift it?  FWIW we both have Masters degrees

Thank You for this, it made my day, I just don't understand the negativity that some people bring for no reason.

So the ProComp lift is out of the question for me because you can only run 20" or larger rims with it. I have to get in contact with BDS to confirm if this is the case with theirs as well but from the looks of it, they won't fit anything smaller than a 20" wheel as well.
