Interesting thats good they finally did something about it. Do you by chance have the HD backup camera or the standard camera? Thanks.

Thanks, that's the same infotainment I have. I will have to check with the dealer sometime and get mine done.

FYI no its not, I took a blanket(because most people say that) and put it on the tailgate and saw that it was in fact the back lighting of the screen that goes full bright.

Well I called the dealer and gave them the numbers you posted amd he said they couldn't find anything about it. Said there is a software update for a bright screen but it doesn't apply to the radio in my truck.

IOR which is the same as Bobv07662 has which is odd since his was able to get the update. Service guy said it only applied to trucks with the A3 or maybe he said A11 radio I can't recall which it was. I'm curious if the software update he got just turns the tailgate led light on while backing up as I've found turning the cargo lamps on clears it up.

Any update on this, it's the one issue that really bothers me about the truck. It will really be bothersome now that the time changes this weekend.

Good news there is a service bulletin for the camera brightness. Got mine done today and it is much better. Service bulletin number is #20-NA-129. Before and after pictures attached.

Bringing my truck in on Tuesday for a few things. Mentioned this to the dealer and they had no clue. Thank god you posted the bulletin to reference. Made mine and their life easier. Looking forward to seeing the difference. Keep ya posted
